2025 Recognition 2026 Board of Directors

Lakes Area REALTORS® Association Recognizes 2025 Volunteer Leaders and Installs 2026 Board of Directors.

At the organization’s Annual Meeting at Veterans Terrace in Burlington, WI on December 3, 2025 the Lakes Area REALTORS® Association recognized the following volunteer leaders:

Brian Labahn, 2025 President: for selfless service in leading the organization through 2025. Labahn cited his proudest accomplishment as finding a way to provide a free safety app for all members. The tool brings intelligence to the real estate industry through innovative solutions to help ensure safer engagements and smarter interactions, and the members are very appreciative.

Kathie Allen, 2025 REALTOR® of the Year: for meritorious service in the arena of member professional development, especially for her hours of volunteer time teaching new member orientation classes. “I decided to serve in a leadership role to raise the bar of professionalism, and I believe we have,” she said when graciously accepting the recognition.

The 2026 Board of Directors was installed, with Tim Vandeville, Jr. as President, Julie Morse as Treasurer, Brian Labahn, Past-President, Cathy Choyce, Jade Goodhue, Garrett Riggs, Susan Kube, JoAnn McCormack and Nicole Orzel as Directors.

The Lakes Area REALTORS® Association is celebrating it’s 75^th year, chartered November 15, 1950 as The Walworth County Board of REALTORS®. The organization is the local chapter of the National Association of REALTORS® and Wisconsin REALTORS® Association and has approximately 700 active members. The mission of the association is  “to professionally SERVE members and communities through EDUCATION and ADVOCACY.”

A celebratory Gala will take place at Veterans Terrace in Burlington on Friday, January 9, 2026. The event will feature a buffet dinner and live NEW Dueling Pianos.
